As a Welder at GNB Global, you’ll put your expertise to work in a hands-on environment where precision and craftsmanship shine. With strong FCAW welding skills, you’ll execute high-quality welds efficiently and safely. Your abilities in blueprint reading, fabrication, and basic math will ensure every project meets our standards of excellence.

Applicants will need to pass a 3G weld test as part of the interview process.
Qualifications
2+ years FCAW welding experience (job experience)
Must be able to layout and fit up with minimal supervision
Must be able to read blue prints (including weld symbols)
Must be able to frequently push, pull and lift up to 50 pounds
Read and interpret work orders and daily production schedules
Use measuring tape, level, square, and angle finder to measure distances and angles
Use oxy-fuel cutting torch and plasma-arc torch for cutting steel
Must have experience working in a manufacturing or production type environment
Ability to calibrate/set welding machines
Must be able to perform multiple processes
Previous or current qualifications in FCAW
Spanish speaking an asset
High School diploma or GED equivalent
Must be able to pass weld test
Must be able to work overtime as needed
Must pass background check & drug test
Physical Requirements:
Stand, kneel, crouch, bend, and reach frequently.
Frequently push, pull and lift up to 50 lbs. with or without assistance.
Work in hot, cold, dusty, and noisy environments.
Handle steel components and fabrication tools.
Wear PPE including gloves, face protection, and steel-toed-boots.
Work around cranes and moving equipment.
Work in environments with dangerous and/or objectionable fumes with exposure to fumes.
Metals that include aluminum, antimony, arsenic, beryllium, cadmium, chromium, cobalt, copper, iron, lead, manganese, molybdenum, nickel, silver, tin titanium, vanadium, zinc
Gases that include argon, helium, nitrogen, carbon dioxide
Welding processes that include nitric oxide, nitrogen dioxide, carbon monoxide, ozone, phosgene, hydrogen fluoride, carbon dioxide
Galvanized material
AM Shift: 5:00 AM - 1:30 PM (overtime as needed), half days Saturday
PM Shift: 3:30 PM - 12:00 AM (overtime as needed), half days Saturday
Night Shift differential - $2/hour
