About the Role
GNB Global Inc. Is a fast growing company that is looking to add a position in their shipping and receiving department. Shipper/Receiver will coordinate with incoming delivery and meet and unload trucks at our Lockport Location. They will also have to coordinate the packaging and assembly of out going orders and load them onto out going trucks. Must have Class 3 License
Job Description:
The Shipping/Receiving Driver is responsible for keeping records of all products shipped and received in a company. You will be responsible for packaging of goods in shipping containers, develop mailing labels and shipping documents and ensure that all orders have been filled correctly. You ensure that received shipment are accurate and placed into inventory. The shipper receiver coordinates with the project management team and the installation construction crews and is responsible for ensuring that correct material are shipped to appropriate job sites. Other duties may include ensuring that timeline are meet, safety procedure and policies are followed, and ensuring GNB standards are maintained. This position involves being on the road driving throughout the day dropping off and picking up items. Must be familiar with the City of Winnipeg
Requirements:
· Reliable, punctual, honest, hard working, organized, attention to detail, creditability, and confident to carry out the remainder requirements.
· Ability to sort, check, count, and verify incoming and outgoing products.
· Work independently with minimal direction using good judgement and initiative (creating work projects to keep staff productive when time is available.
· Understand and follow oral and written directions and to Communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
· Valid Class 3Drivers License
· Clear Criminal Record
· Forklift, Zoom boom, First Aid, Fall Protection Certificates an asset
